Pippi Calzelunghe



In occasione del centenario della nascita della maggiore scrittrice svedese di letteratura per ragazzi, Astrid Lindgreen, Fondazione Aida porta in scena il suo personaggio più amato: Pippi Calzelunghe. Lo spettacolo, firmato dalla regia di Pino Costalunga e Marinella Rolfart, narra la vicenda di questa bambina assolutamente fuori dagli schemi e dei suoi giovani amici attraverso i loro occhi sbarazzini e spensierati. La storia di Pippi, la ragazzina lentigginosa dalle rosse trecce sparate all’insù, che “sulle sue gambe lunghe e magre portava un paio di lunghe calze, una marrone e l’altra nera”, si snoda dal suo arrivo nella vecchia casa, Villa Villacolle, con la sua scimmietta dallo strano nome di “Signor Nilsson” e con un cavallo subito sistemato nella veranda, alle sue avventure con Annika e Tommy, i suoi vicini di casa e compagni di giochi. La storia prosegue con il ritorno di papà Efraim e con il viaggio nei mari del sud, resi attraverso una scenografia coloratissima e divertente. La pièce, interpretata da Rossella Terragnoli, Sabrina Carletti e Cristina Nadrah, vuole dare un quadro esaustivo e divertente di uno dei personaggi più celebri nel mondo per la sua simpatia e capacità di comunicare, unità alla predisposizione a cercare guai e comportarsi in maniera un po’ rude, con grande libertà e indipendenza.

Pippi Longstocking
For the occasion of the one hundredth anniversary of the birth of Astrid Lingreen, number one swedish author for children, Fondazione Aida is staging her most loved character, Pippi Longstocking. The show, directed by Pino Costalunga and Marinella Rolfart, tells the story of this amazing, unconventional little girl and of her friends, from their point of view, perky and jaunty.
The story of Pippi, the freckled, red-haired girl, with pigtails sticking outwards and odd stockings on her long thin legs, begins with her arrival at the old house, Villa Villekulla, with her monkey, funnily called “Mr.Nilsson”, and with a white horse promptly accommodated in the veranda of the villa, and about her adventures with Annika and Tommy, the children and best friends who live next door. The story continues with the unexpected return of Pippi’s father, Efraim, and with a journey to the south seas, conveyed by  very colourful and enjoyable scenery. The play, interpreted by Rossella Terragnoli, Sabrina Carletti and Cristina Nadrah, aims to render an all-round picture of one of the most famous, appealing and communicative fiction characters in the world, with her talent for mischief and sometimes coarse manners, a model of freedom and independence.
