The exhibition Elvis & Presley presents the colour and black & white photographs taken in May 1999 by Swiss photographer Robert Huber and Belgian photographer Stephan Vanfleteren during a journey across the United States.

Huber is Elvis in the black and white photos; Vanfleteren is Presley in the colour photographs.

From Times Square to Death Valley, Huber and Vanfleteren, dressed in glittering jumpsuits that overtly recalled the look of Elvis Presley, photographed each other and also the reactions of the people they met: people who looked at them in astonishment or amusement and people who wished to see in them the "real" Elvis Presley.

This photographic journey on show at the Scavi Scaligeri site in Verona describes the contrast between the ordinary and the extraordinary, the desire to interact with this contrast and the sense of unease that it causes.
