Descrizione
Throughout human evolutionary history we have lived in close contact with nature, developing a deep and universal bond with it: Biophilia or "Love for Life" (Fromm, 1964; Wilson, 1984, 2002).
Biophilia stimulates our need and contact with nature, which is able to exert an effect on our mind and body: we experience psychological and cognitive changes and effects, such as increasing focus and creativity, physiological, such as relaxation and lowering of stress, affective, such as an increase in pleasant emotions and mood, and behavioural, we are more sociable and attentive to the environment.
This implies that the experience of greening our city is able to regenerate us deeply, the contact and the view of the water of the Adige river is able to reduce feelings of stress, negative emotions and promote healing, listening to natural sounds in the park can reduce our blood pressure, and much more.
